    Cyanocitta cristata

    Blue Jay

The Blue Jay is an omnivore, but it mostly feeds on plants like nuts and berries. Its colors make it very recognizable and it has many noisy bird calls. A very interesting fact I learnd is that the young usually only stay at the nest for 17-21 days after hatching.
