Parellisina curvirostris is an encrusting bryozoan, typical of shallow shelf environments. The colonies form delicate white lace-like patches on stones, shells and calcareous concretions in waters between 30 – 80 m.
Parellisina. curvirostris is widespread throughout warm temperate and sub-tropical waters. It is common at moderate depths in the Mediterranean and extends as far north as the western English Channel.
