species possibly Polyzosteria viridissima
. Found feeding in Orites revoluta
flowers along the walking track between Ada Lagoon and Talinah Lagoon, Central Plateau, Tasmania. I've encountered this insect a few times when visiting Lake Augusta and wondered what they feed on. I watched a pair of individuals in the Orites
bushes and they seem to be visiting and feeding on the flowers. This species has been provisionally ID'd as Polyzosteria viridissima
by others (I have no knowledge of Cockcroaches!) but it's been suggested that this might be something undescribed.
