This is a common bird in my neighborhood, esp. in spring/summer/fall. It typically produces two broods a summer in various shrubs. They do not, however, regularly visit anyone's feeders. If they do, it is always the male - the female is either on the ground or nearby. However, they will use the bird bath or other water feature, esp. at dusk. In winter I hear them every now and then, but far less frequently than the remainder of the year.
