Announcing TaiEOL, a newly launched website from the Taiwan Forestry Bureau and Academica Sinica, an EOL global partner since 2012! TaiEOL serves information in traditional Chinese from hundreds of scientists and multiple databases for about 13,000 species, including plants, fish, amphibians and reptiles, birds, mammals, insects, corals, and spiders. Some of this information is already shared on EOL, with more to come. Everything is available under EOL-approved Creative Commons licenses. Academica Sinica also translated EOL’s interface into traditional Chinese. Congratulations and thanks to the TaiEOL team and their many collaborators!
