Range Description

This species is known only from the Andes of northern Peru. It has been recorded at 2,180m asl on the eastern slopes of the northern part of the Cordillera Central, in San Martin Province from 1,138m asl, and from 1,750m asl on the eastern slopes of the Cordillera del Cndor (in Amazonas Department). The altitudinal range of this species suggests that it might range more widely; further surveys are needed within the region.
