Range Description

Specimens currently referable to O. elkejungingerae are now considered to be reasonably widespread in northern and central Peru. Peruvian specimens previously referred to as O. verruciger (from the central Peruvian Departments of Junin, San Martin and Ucayali) have been added to this account on the advice of Karl-Heinz Jungfer (pers comm). Restricted to moderate elevations (300-1,100m asl).
