Range Description

This species is distributed primarily on the eastern slopes of the Andes, where it is known in Ecuador from elevations of 920-1,740m asl in the Cordillera Oriental, (Morona-Santiago) at 1,700m asl in the Cordillera de Cutuc, and 1,500-1,550m asl (Napo) on the western slopes of the Cordillera del Cndor. In Peru it is known from elevations as low as 200m asl in the Amazonian lowlands (Amazonas). In Colombia it is known from a single site in western Putumayo. Its altitudinal range is from 200-1,900m asl.
