Range Description

This species occurs in Northern Australia, from the Kimberley region in Western Australia, throughout the northern part of the Northern Territory and northern Queensland and down the coast to Fraser Island (but not including the island). It is also known from several localities along the south-central coast of New Guinea, in Papua New Guinea. It occurs in lowlands up to about 50m asl in Papua New Guinea, and up to 500m asl, and possibly even 1,000m asl in Australia.
