Range Description

Monarcha godeffroyi is endemic to the islands of Yap, Federated States of Micronesia, occurring on Yap, Gagil-Tomil, Rumung (presumably) and Maap, where it is widespread. In 1984, it was estimated to number 26,961 individuals (Engbring et al. 1990).
