Range Description

This species is found in the Pacific slope of the Cordillera de Talamanca of Costa Rica (Savage 2002, Sasa et al. 2010). Savage (2202) cited Lips (1993) in indicating the occurrence of this species in extreme western Panama, but Lips (1993) attributed her observation to Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica, and did not mention any specimens from Panama. Elevational range of this species extends from 1,500 to 2,255 meters (Savage 2002, Solrzano 2004, Wilson and Johnson 2010).
