Range Description

This species is known from only a small area in the foothills of the Sierra Maestra of eastern Cuba at elevations of 260465 m above sea level. Its estimated distribution is less than 5,000 km with its area of occupancy considerably less due to a lack of suitable habitat. Furthermore, its distribution is severely fragmented due to the expansion of agriculture in the region.
