Continent: Caribbean
Distribution: Dominican Republic (Barahona, Azua, Pico Diego de Ocampo, summit dome, between Puerta Plata and Santiago, Prov. Santiago, Sierra de Neiba, Province Duarte), Hispaniola.  Sphaerodactylus darlingtoni darlingtoni: República Dominicana, western Cordillera Septentrional.
Type locality: “Mt. Diego de Ocampo, summit dome, ca. 4000 feet, between Puerto Plata and Santiago, Dominican Republic”  Sphaerodactylus darlingtoni bobilini (HOLOTYPE USNM 194045): República Dominicana, Sierra Martin Garcia.   Sphaerodactylus darlingtoni mekistus (HOLOTYPE USNM 194046): República Dominicana, Sierra de Neiba.  Sphaerodactylus darlingtoni noblei (HOLOTYPE AMNH 45216): northeastern República Dominicana, southeast to Hato Mayor and La Romana provinces.
