Range Description

This species is known from northern Chile, north of Antofagasta, from the coast to the foothills of the Andes. This species has also been reported in widely scattered localities in northwestern Peru and appears to be restricted to the desert foothills bordering the Sechura Desert (Dixon and Huey 1970). It is probably also found in southwest Ecuador.
