Range Description

This species is endemic to central Mexico, where it is found as isolated populations in southern portions of the Sierra Madre Oriental and the Sierra Madre del Sur. It has been recorded from the States of Hidalgo, Veracruz, Puebla, Oaxaca and Guerrero. It occurs between about 1,800 to 2,800 m asl.
