Range Description

This species is endemic to Madagascar where it known from a number of high elevation sites in the central highlands, at Andringitra (Raxworthy and Nussbaum 1996), Ankaratra (Vences et al. 2002), Ibity (Glaw and Vences 2007) and Antoetra (Andreone et al. 2007), where it has been recorded between 1,600 and 2,640 m asl. The lizard's extent of occurrence, based on the combined area of known localities, is estimated to be 526 km.
