Range Description

This species is endemic to Madagascar, where it is restricted to high elevation humid forest from 1,550 to 1,680 m elevation in the south (Raxworthy and Nussbaum 1996). It is known from a number of localities around the Andringitra massif, as well as at Kalambatritra (Andreone and Randrianirina 2007), and may also be present at Andohahela. The species has an estimated extent of occurrence of 1,220 km based on the area of the known localities, including Andohahela.
