Range Description

This species is known from a few sites in Fiji including Vanua Levu and a single dredge in Tonga (Moolenbeek, Röckel and Bouchet 2008). There are also records from the Philippines (Poppe pers. comm. 2011). It has a depth distribution of 250-500 m.

Specimens from Fiji have a paucispiral protoconch indicating non-planktotrophic larval development, so it is dubious that the specimens from the Philippines are conspecific.
