Range Description

This species is endemic to Madagascar and occurs on the southern coast extending up to the north west (Röckel et al. 1995). It is mostly found around central Madagascan coast.

This is an extremely rare species known from less than 50 specimens in collections (G. Raybaudi pers. comm. October 2011).
