Range Description

The native range of this species extends from the Iberian Peninsula to north Africa, south to KwaZulu-Natal, Indian Ocean islands and the Arabian Peninsula, it has apparently been introduced to east, south and south-east Asia, Australasia, parts of Oceania and North, Central and South America (The Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew 2012).
