Range Description

C. appropinquata occurs throughout northern and central Europe, east to Western Siberia and the Caucasus and south to Slovenia and Turkey. The centre of its distribution appears to be Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Poland and Germany and it is less widespread and abundant outside these areas and rare toward the limits of its range in the south and east.
