Hippomane mancinella (Manchineel) is a species of tree in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Florida Carpenter Ant and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
