Pouteria filipes is a species of tree in the family Sapotaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Roraima, Pará, Amapá, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Maranhao, Espirito Santo, Amazônia, Mato Grosso, and RondôNia. They have simple, broad leaves and berries. Individuals can grow to 31 m.
