Range Description

This species is widely, although sparsely, distributed in northern and especially southern savanna zones. It has been recorded from central Angola (the southern records in Angola are probably misidentified specimens of Zelotomys woosnami), Zambia, northern Malawi (Nyika and Vipya platyeaus), western Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan and Central African Republic. The altitudinal range of this species is not known.
