Calidris canutus rufa (Red Knot) is a subspecies of birds in the family Scolopacidae. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are native to The Nearctic and The Neotropics. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
