Range Description

Ochotona gaoligongensis has a restricted distribution (Smith and Xie 2008). This species is only known from Mount Gaoligong, northwest Yunnan Province in China (Smith et al. 1990). O. gaoligongensis is thought to be endemic to China, but may occur in Myanmar (Smith and Xie 2008). It can be found at approximately 3,000 m in elevation (Smith and Xie 2008).
