Rüppell’s pipistrelle is a medium-sized bat. Fur on the upperparts of the body fine and dense. Hairs on the dorsal are blackish brown while hairs on the ventral side are completely white. Broad wings. Limbs, tail, and muzzle are black. Ears long and dark brown in color. Tragus is knife-shaped, shorter than half the length of pinna, with small and short antitragus separated from hind margin of the ear by a deep notch.
