Range Description

This species is found in the Andean highlands of southern Per, northern Chile, western Bolivia and western Argentina through the high and low Monte south to northern Patagonia (Palma et al. 2002, Martin 2008, Formoso et al. 2011). It is the broadest distributed marsupial within the tribe Thylamyini (Martin 2008).
