Alnus incana tenuifolia (Thinleaf Alder) is a subspecies of tree in the family Betulaceae. They are native to Canada, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Individuals can grow to 20 feet.
