Range Description

The species has an eastern Asia distribution: from the Amur River to the Yangtze River drainages. In Mongolia, it is known from the Lake Buir, Onon and Kherlen river drainages (Berg 1964; Kottelat 2006). There are records from the Red River in Viet Nam which probably refer to this species (Kottelat 2001).
