Range Description

This species is known two rivers in the Brahmaputra River drainage in Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India (Vishwanath and Linthoingambi 2007). It is at present thought to be restricted to the Dikrong River (where the type locality is also recorded), estimated at 30 km long, and the Subansiri River about 25 km. The estimated extent of occurrence for the species is less than 150 km calculating the length of the rivers by 2 km width.
