Range Description

Similar to some other members of the genus, the geographic distribution of this species is poorly known. So far, the species is known to occur in the Cordillera de Mrida and the Pramo de Tama in western Venezuela, and in the Departamento Cundinamarca in Colombia (Handley 1976, Alberico et al. 2000, Cuartas and Muoz 2003, Gardner 2007). This species is found at high elevations from 1,1004,000 m in Venezuela (Hershkovitz 1992).
