General Description

A medium-sized Pyralid, with narrow, brown forewings, having a wingspan of 19-27 mm, and light grayish-fuscous hindwings. The costal region of the FW is similar in color to the remainder of the wing, rather than being pale or white as in Peoria approximella, Coenochroa illibella or species of Pima. The genitalia are described by Shafer (1968). Similar to the species of Bandera but somewhat larger and with the frons rounded, rather than being conical.
