The female body is found within a transparent cylindrical tube with1 mm thick walls that emerges from the whale bone. The crwon is composed of four pinnule-bearing palps and a cylindrical oviduct. The contracted crown plumes are 2.1 cm long. The oviduct extends between the palps, 1.8 cm from the trunk, and is filled with ellipsoid eggs that have mean diameters of 121 by 151 um. The palps are red in living specimens with pinnules on the outer margin. The collar has brown plaques dorsally. The trunk is 3.8 cm in length and 2 mm wide at the collar. The ovisac measures 8 mm by 4 mm by 0.3 mm, with paired anterolateral projections and four posterior discrete roots. The roots have spherical lobes.
Paedomorphic males are found clustered around the oviduct in the tube of the females, and are 0.4 - 1.1 mm long. The males have an anterior prototroch that is incomplete and posterior hooked chaete. There are 16 hooks with capitium teeth that emerge posteriorly, with handles that are 18 - 23 um. The capitium have 6 to 8 teeth, and two smaller subrostrumal teeth.
