This species is known from a few specimens [collected as P. phosphorus (Galil 2000)] collected in Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Australia, Japan, the Philippines and Taiwan (Ahyong and Brown 2002, Ahyong and Chan 2004).

Range Description

This species is found off French Polynesia, Vanuatu, Fiji, New Caledonia, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Taiwan and Australia (Galil 2000, Ahyong and Chan 2004, Ahyong and Galil 2006).
