Range Description

West Africa: This species is common in the western part of the West African region with a distributional range from Sngal and Mauritania to Ghana, in an area bounded by the Sahara desert and the Atlantic ocean. The species has been recorded in rainforest from localities in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea, Cte-d'Ivoire and Ghana, and in savanna from localities in Sngal, Mauritania, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Cte-d'Ivoire. In Ghana it is found in the Prah River in the southern Ashanti region.
