Gaillardia pulchella (Firewheel) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Melissodes bimaculatus, Halictus poeyi, Agapostemon splendens, and Norton's Nomia. Individuals can grow to 0.61 m.
