Brief Summary

Read full entry
Lice are parasites which profit from birds and mammals. They eat flakes of skin and blood. Lice are wingless. Many animals have their own unique characteristic species. There are three species found on people. Seals have their own lice, the seal louse. That is the only species described here. Although the name implies it's also a species of louse, whale louse is not an insect but a crustacean.
