Range Description

This species is endemic to Australia. It has been found in two rivers in North Queensland; the Burdekin River and Barron River (Iredale 1943) and Coopers Creek, Innamincka, South Australia (Smith 1992). Its extent of occurrence, taking into account its disjunct distribution, has been estimated as less than 20,000 km2.
