Smyrnium olusatrum (Alexanders) is a species of biennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Melanostoma scalare, House fly, Agrypnus murinus, and Eoseristalis pertinax. Individuals can grow to 0.83 m.
