Range Description

This species is endemic to South Africa and occurs between Cape St Francis and the Northern Transkei region (Tenorio and Monteiro 2008). More specifically, C. pictus pictus occurs from Cape St Francis (Jeffreys Bay) to East-London, and C. pictus transkeiensis occurs in the Transkei region, from East-London to northern Transkei (S. Veldsman pers. comm. October 2011).
