Range Description

The species is distributed in Costa Rica and Nicaragua (Hunt et al. 2006, Morales-Quirs and Aragn-Quesada 2000). The natural range of this species is hard to determine because it has been grown so widely. It occurs at elevations of 0 to 1,400 m asl.
