Hymenoxys hoopesii (Owl's Claws) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Western White, Silvery Blue, Indiscriminate Cuckoo Bumble Bee, and Two Form Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 0.63 m.
