DISTRIBUTION: Marginella hyalina has been recorded from the antarctic continent from 49°E to 141°E (193-527 m), from the Ross Sea (256-457 m), from 26°W (229 m) and from off the South Shetlands (311-426 m) and the Crozets (115-155 m). Although not mentioned often in the literature it is probably circumantarctic in distribution.”
