Miscellaneous Details

"Trichophorum subcapitatum species was first described under Scirpus by Thwaites & Hooker in Thwaites (1864) but was later transferred to Baeothryon. It belongs to a group of about six species which has been subject to much confusion over the correct generic name, Trichophorum having been applied as well as Scirpus and Baeothryon (Simpson 1998)."
