They are native to Mato Grosso, Pará, Maranhao, Distrito Federal, Roraima, Espirito Santo, Ceará, Alagoas, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, RondôNia, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Mata Atlântica, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Amapá, Caatinga, Pantanal, North America, Tocantins, Amazônia, Bahia, Sergipe, GoiáS, Acre (Brazil), Rio Grande Do Norte, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have berries.
