Range Description

This species is found in the Arctic Ocean (Southward and Campbell 2006), the Bay of Biscay, Bay of Cadiz, Clyde Sea and the Mediterranean Sea (Madsen and Hansen 1994). Individuals have been reported from the British Isles, Iceland, Ireland, Norway and Scotland (Madsen and Hansen 1994). It also occurs in the Gulf of Mexico, in Florida (Deichmann, 1958) and the Canary Islands (Bacallado et al. 1985).
