Tamarix ramosissima (Saltcedar) is a species of shrub in the family Tamaricaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Moldova, Afghanistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Iran, Russia, Iraq, and North Korea. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 4.2 m.
