Range Description

This species has a geographic distribution that extends from middle Honshu in southern Japan (Okutani 2005) to Hong Kong in the south, and includes the South and East China Seas, Taiwan, and both the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Republic of Korea (Reid et al. 2005). In warm years the distribution of this species moves northwards into the Sea of Japan (Reid et al. 2005).
