Callistephus chinensis (China Aster) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to China. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Disonycha latifrons, small white, and Red-belted Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 0.3 m.
